MSD is making it easy to activate a nitrous system on late model engines with the new TPS/RPM Switch. This switch is easy to use with push button programming and works with mechanical switches or fly-by-wire systems. You can easily set an rpm on for precise activation in conjunction with a TPS setting. For high rpm protection you can select an rpm to deactivate the system. The universal switch can also handle up to 25 amps so in most cases a relay and extra wiring isn't needed. Setting up the RPM is as easy as throttling your vehicle to the desired RPM and hitting the set button, you also setup the off RPM the same way!

HEI units (ALL81200 and ALL81202) have high output coils and adjustable vacuum advances, perfect for upgrading stock HEI distributors for higher RPM. The Ready to Run unit (ALL81222) has a vacuum advance with the reliability of an electronic ignition and the size of a point style distributor. Perfect for early GM cars without clearance for an HEI unit, these distributors can use any external stock or performance coil. Developed and tested using innovative engineering techniques, the Mileage Max takes the bite out of rising fuel prices by optimizing the timing and pressure of fuel delivery, which has consistently been proven to improve not only fuel economy, but also horsepower. Testing Procedure The Mileage Max was developed and tested by Edge’s engineers using a Mustang dynamometer to duplicate typical driving conditions. Both input and return fuel lines from the test truck were run into a separate tank containing a known quantity of fuel placed on an extremely accurate digital scale. With the truck fully warmed, the truck’s cruise control was set to 70 MPH in overdrive and a constant load applied to simulate highway loads. The weight of the consumed fuel was then subtracted from the original weight and converted into MPG. Repeated test results showed the Mileage Max consistently delivered up to a 7% improvement in fuel economy (depending on year and model of the vehicle) and up to 35 extra horsepower. In order to ensure accuracy, several tests were performed and an average made with and without the Mileage Max using the same conditions on the same dyno.
